From a young age, Chris Stephensen has always been fascinated by planes, trains, and automobiles. Starting with Matchbox collections and Revell kits, the car bug developed into a love of motorsports, to the point of playing flag marshal on race weekends. Having allegedly grown up, he now lives in Austin, mostly for grad school and partly to live next-door to Circuit of the Americas (or vice versa). In his spare time, Chris enjoys discovering the incredible stories behind cars and thinks it’s quite normal to wake up at 4:30am over the weekend to watch sports car, formula, motorcycle, and figure-8 school bus races on the other side of the globe. Though he’d prefer an entire warehouse full of old, new, fast, rare, and unusual rides, if there could only be one toy, it would be a Caterham Seven built with his own two hands. Slowly but surely, Chris is also saving his pennies to fund a dream vacation: Two-ish months of cruising around Europe, experiencing the Monaco Grand Prix, Isle of Man TT, 24 Hours of Le Mans, and getting into whatever trouble he might find along the way.
